Home Is Wherever I'm Riding

I was raised on a ranch with four horses and plenty of freedom, in every sense of the phrase. It made me a real thrill seeker.

Before long, my love of horses became competitive showjumping. I think that much adrenaline, that often, changes a person. Sitting on a horse is where I feel most at home. Soaring over a jump or galloping along the ocean, nothing else comes close.

It has cost me 5 concussions, and I still wouldn't change a thing.

I'm happiest packing horses through the wilderness. Few people ever get to feel that kind of peace and freedom, and I'm deeply grateful that I have.

My next goal is to have a ranch of my own! Nothing beats having horses at home.
